-the nurses are more scantily clad. Silent hill 1 had regular nurses (with regular parasites). The reason they had the "sexy nurses" in silent hill 2 was because they were a dramatic hallucination brought on by James' feelings of lust for the nurses while his wife was hospitalized. They had (according to something I read somewhere) their heads on backwards (this makes sense because the guy who did the monsters also cited some Heirynoimus Bosh works in a "making-of" video). In sh3, the nurses were just Japanese ladies in regular uniforms (but with a red square on their mouth; it's not blood). Probably because Heather was pregnant and hospitalization was a recurring theme in 2 and 3 (babies get born in hospitals, James' wife died). Plus, they (sh5 nurses) just look like they stepped out of the movie. P.S. Another thing I read about the Bobble-head nurses is that their heads aren't on backwards, they're just typically silent hill mutilated. So don't emphasize what I said up there too much when you're repeating what I said. -Siam: A closer's arms attached to a BDSM male/female hybrid. None of that seems to be original in the slightest. Plus, I want something that sexually disgusts me. The monster isn't even shockingly disgusting either, it's just sort of gross because of the S&M. -Smog: It's not that dragon from The Hobbit, it's a lumpier lying figure with some hands under the skin by its mouth. Unless
the ex-marine also has been traumatized by witnessing figures restrained on hospital beds, they have no place in a game without
James. SilentHill5.net: "Silent Hill fans will notice how similar Smog is to Silent Hill 2's lying figure. However, it
is not quite the same in Silent Hill V. It's appearance, while similar is slightly more unnerving." Yes it is unnerving,
because video games suck more and more as time goes on and people who play video games have to watch the industry burn to
the ground.
![]() -Schism: Too abstract. It looks like something somebody painted in a few brushstrokes. Kind of neat, but has no place in a Silent Hill game. To be fair though, the artist didn't rip anyone off blatantly enough to catch my eye. -the sewer monster: Let's put valtiel's upper body on split-head worm's lower half. More uncreative bullshit. But hey, I could be wrong. There could be some other source of inspiration for its lower body. |
